Christmas Wish List
Wish lists are your friend. They help friends pick a gift for you, saving them precious time and extra effort to look for that perfect present that will impact you when you open it on Christmas Day. Of course, it can’t be helped that there will be ‘dream on’ items on the wish list, but it doesn’t hurt to dream. Who knows, some fairy godmother would be reading this entry and deliver me that ‘dream gift’ that will make my Christmas complete and leave me with the satisfaction that I am right when I say that there are still good people in the world.
So my friends, here is my Christmas Wish List:
a black shirt with a white Ibanez logo print (small or medium size would do)
a good looking casual ‘guy’ belt (my waist size is 34 low, 36 at the beer tummy.)
a Hot Wheels F1 toy car (smallest is around 100+ pesos. that’ll do. i’m wishing three people give me this: one McLaren, one Ferrari and one Williams)
a CD softcase, preferably black.
a bookend, preferably black or dark blue.
three guitar picks. I use Dunlop picks, heavy gauge. Any color.
a nice pen. a Parker jotter would do. again, preferably black, and ballpoint.
a guitar strap set, preferably leather or synthetic leather, black.
a pair of earphones with the smaller jack for use with my Smartphone.
‘dream on’ items:
a copy of Neil Gaiman’s Endless Nights (around 1,200 pesos at Powerbooks)
a copy of Neil Gaiman’s Anansi Boys (around 1,100 pesos at Powerbooks)
a copy of Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman: Season of Mists (999 pesos at Powerbooks, paper back)
a 128MB SD Card (PQI, 680 at PC Express)
a Sony Ericsson K750i*
an iPod 60GB*

* the ultimate – “mukha mo” kind of items 🙂 i know someone who would say that when she sees this list.
