Death of an iCon

Steve Jobs, Apple co-founder, died October 5, 2011.

He was hailed as a game-changing innovator and visionary, and his return to Apple 11 years after he was ousted saw a revival that grew the company by leaps and bounds, bringing it back to profitability, relevance and importance.
The technology industry mourned his passing, along with technology fans, geeks, and millions of people who have owned, bought, loved and scorned the products that he and his company designed, produced and sold. Tributes flowed into Apple stores, messages of sympathy and loss posted all over the Internet in the form of blog posts, tweets, and status updates.
As a person, I cannot thank Steve Jobs and Apple enough for their innovations and products, giving me great tools to do the things I do best and reflect who I am, which I believe was what he and his company originally set out to do.
Thank you, Steve. You will always be remembered.
